Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works best)

1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (adjust based on your spice preference)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, softened cream cheese, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to your liking, then mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Roll Out the Dough: On a clean, flat surface, unroll the crescent roll dough. Separate it into two large rectangles. Gently press the seams of the dough together to form a solid sheet, ensuring no gaps remain.

Spread the Filling: Using a spatula, evenly spread the buffalo chicken filling over each rectangle, ensuring you leave about a half-inch border around the edges to prevent overflow during baking.

Roll It Up: Starting at one long edge of the rectangle, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log shape. Ensure the roll is even throughout to facilitate even cooking.

Slice the Spirals: With a sharp knife, slice each log into 1-inch thick spirals. You should yield approximately 12-15 spirals from each log, depending on evenness of slicing.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Position the spiral slices on the prepared baking sheet with the cut side facing up. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over them for an extra cheesy top.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the spirals turn golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the spirals from the oven and allow them to cool for a few moments. Garnish with chopped green onions for a fresh touch, and serve them warm alongside ranch or blue cheese dressing for delightful dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12-15 spirals

                      - Presentation Tips: For a colorful display, arrange the spirals on a serving platter and add small bowls of ranch and blue cheese dressing in the middle for easy dipping.
