4 everything bagels (preferably a day or two old for better crunch)

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon white sesame seeds

1 teaspoon poppy seeds

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)

Optional: a pinch of red chili flakes for a spicy kick

    Slice the Bagels: Using a sharp serrated knife, carefully slice each bagel into thin rounds, aiming for slices about 1/4 inch thick. Each bagel should yield approximately 8-10 slices.

      Make the Seasoned Oil: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, white sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried parsley, kosher salt, and optional red chili flakes. Mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are well incorporated to create a flavorful oil blend.

        Coat the Bagel Slices: Transfer the bagel slices to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the seasoned oil evenly over the slices. Using your hands or a spatula, gently toss the bagel slices until each piece is fully coated in the oil and spices.
