Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced into rounds

1 cup brewed coffee, cooled to room temperature

1 cup Greek yogurt (either vanilla or plain for flavor flexibility)

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

A pinch of salt for balance

Optional toppings: a handful of crushed nuts, mini chocolate chips, or shredded coconut for added texture

Instructions

Begin by placing the sliced bananas, cooled brewed coffee, Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and the pinch of salt into a blender.

Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Pause occasionally to scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure all ingredients are well combined.

Taste the smoothie mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup according to your preference.

Carefully pour the blended mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray, smoothing the tops with a spatula if needed to create an even surface.

If you’re enhancing with toppings, sprinkle a few crushed nuts, mini chocolate chips, or shredded coconut onto the top of each mold before placing them in the freezer.

Set the molds in the freezer and allow them to freeze for a minimum of 4 hours or until they are completely solid.

Once the smoothie bites are fully frozen, carefully pop them out of the molds. Store the bites in a zip-top freezer bag or an airtight container for later enjoyment.

Enjoy these delightful bites as a refreshing snack straight from the freezer, or let them thaw for a few minutes for a softer and more indulgent treat!

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes | Servings: About 12-15 bites

                    - Presentation Tips: For an inviting look, serve the smoothie bites on a platter adorned with fresh banana slices or coffee beans to connect with the flavors, making them perfect for a gathering or snack time!
