2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted

1 cup crumbled feta cheese

1 medium red onion, finely diced

1 small jalapeño pepper, finely chopped (optional for heat)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Juice of 1 lime

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

4 slices of rustic bread (sourdough or whole grain recommended)

Optional: chili flakes for an extra kick
