Ingredients

4 cups water

4 black tea bags

1 cup fresh mint leaves, tightly packed

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 cup honey (adjust according to your sweetness preference)

1 cup ice cubes

Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Lemon slices (optional)

Instructions

Boil the Water: Begin by pouring 4 cups of water into a medium-sized saucepan. Heat the water over medium-high heat until it reaches a rolling boil.

Steep the Tea: Once the water is boiling, carefully remove the saucepan from the heat source. Add the black tea bags to the boiling water, allowing them to steep for 5-7 minutes. Adjust the steeping time based on your preferred strength of tea.

Incorporate Mint and Vanilla: After the tea has steeped, remove and discard the tea bags. Add the tightly packed fresh mint leaves to the hot tea. Let the mint steep for an additional 5 minutes to infuse its flavor. Following this, stir in the vanilla extract and honey, mixing thoroughly until well combined. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness with more honey if needed.

Cool the Mixture: Carefully remove the mint leaves from the tea. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature before transferring it to the refrigerator. Chill the tea for at least 1 hour, or until it is completely cold.

Serve the Tea: When ready to serve, fill a large pitcher or individual glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled vanilla mint tea over the ice, ensuring a refreshing pour.

Garnish and Enjoy: Enhance the visual appeal and flavor of your tea by garnishing with fresh mint sprigs and adding lemon slices for a hint of citrus. Serve immediately and relish the delightful, refreshing taste.
