Ingredients

1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), drained

Fresh basil leaves, whole

3 tablespoons balsamic glaze

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

12 wooden skewers (6-inch or 8-inch)

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients:

    - Begin by washing the cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves under cold running water. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

      - Carefully cut each cherry tomato in half and set them aside in a bowl, ready for assembly.

        Assemble Skewers:

          - Take a wooden skewer and thread on one half of a cherry tomato, cut side facing up.

            - Next, slide on a fresh basil leaf, followed by a mozzarella ball.

              - Repeat this pattern—cherry tomato half, basil leaf, mozzarella—until the skewer is filled, leaving about an inch of space at each end for easy handling.

                Season:

                  - Once all the skewers are assembled, arrange them on a serving platter.

                    - Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil evenly over the skewers, ensuring all elements get a touch of flavor.

                      - Finish by sprinkling salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, enhancing the overall balance of flavors.

                        Drizzle Balsamic Glaze:

                          - Just before serving your delicious skewers, artfully drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top, adding a sweet and tangy finish that will intrigue the palate.

                            Serve:

                              - For an appealing presentation, place the skewers attractively on a serving platter.

                                - You may wish to garnish with additional basil leaves for color, or add an extra drizzle of olive oil and balsamic glaze for a restaurant-quality finish.
