1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or option for almond butter to keep it nut-free)

1/3 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup ground flaxseed

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (either dark or semi-sweet)

1/4 cup chia seeds

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

Optional: 1/2 cup shredded coconut or chopped nuts for added texture

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, and sea salt. If you’re including shredded coconut or chopped nuts for extra texture, add them to the bowl and mix well.

    Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) using a spoon or spatula until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Then, add the pure vanilla extract and mix again until fully integrated.

      Combine Both Mixtures: Pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients. With a spatula or your hands, mix everything together until it is well combined and sticky. The mixture should easily hold together when pressed.
