Ingredients
  

  • 2.0 cups mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts)
  • 2.0 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2.0 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1.0 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1.0 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1.0 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1.0 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1.0 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 0.0 none fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, maple syrup or honey, sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, rosemary, thyme, and cayenne pepper (if using). Whisk until well combined.
  • Add mixed nuts to the bowl and stir to coat each nut with the mixture.
  • Pour the coated nuts onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading them in a single layer.
  • Roast the nuts in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Remove from the oven and let the nuts cool on the baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle fresh herbs on top before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
